We had a very good atmosphere at the September Pop up Pub night.  About thirty villagers and friends enjoyed the guest real ale, which was White Rat from the Ossett Brewing Co. That went down a treat, along with the usual prosecco and wine from the licenced bar.  Pub games included shove ha’penny,  Rummikub, Dominoes, Fun Photo Booth and Karaoke.

We chose to try out a Saturday night “drop-in” and not request online booking in advance for food, but we felt we were competing with Strictly Come Dancing ! We probably will revert to the previous Friday Night formula next time and think about serving casual food – what do people think?
