Sunday July 7th saw the return of the annual village walk and “summer” barbeque!  Despite the chilly ad showery weather, Miles led some intrepid walkers on an enjoyable walk in our wonderful countryside.

Anticipating yet more rainfall in this run of disappointing summer weather, the hall had been decked out with bunting and yellow tablecloths for an indoor picnic.  Julian served up to thirty of us with expertly barbecued, locally sourced burgers and sausages and Kate and Sarah served chilled drinks from an informal bar, within the hall.

The next event is the AGM on 23rd July at 7.30pm, all welcome.
