The Pop-up Pub Night was judged a great success. Thank you to everyone who popped-in, ate all the pies, downed more than a few drinks and sang a few songs.

A pop-up pub had been on the list of “things to do” for some time, but it was the committee’s idea of serving a pie-n-peas supper helped us get if off the ground.

We hope you found the new online website shop easy, as it handled all the money in advance and allowed 40 pies to be pre-ordered. This not only gave us a clear idea of how popular the night would be but also prevented unnecessary food waste, or shortages on the night. In all, over 50 were sold, and being home-made by a local cook, were delicious!

Finally, it has to be said that the Karaoke machine leant by Ed and Di was such fun. We must do it all again some time.
