Villagers were invited to bring along any portable appliances they wished to check out to the First Tuesday Coffee Morning in September. The cost was just £1 per item.

PAT testing checked out their portable electrical appliances for electrical safety: toasters, kettles, chargers and electric blankets, for example.

The village hall does this work every year to comply with regulations, and the success of the event means it should become an annual opportunity for local residents to check electrical equipment too!
