We’ve had our chips.

Twelve teams competed in a full hall for the glory of winning the coveted Jules Rimet trophy at the annual Fish and Chips Quiz last Friday ( 23rd February).
The Infamous Five triumphed over plucky attempts by the Swots and the Stella Ketchups to foil them once again lifting the trophy in victory. Well done team!

Miles took over from the redoubtable Neil as our new Quizmaster, with a great set of puzzling questions and music items. Most teams managed to shine at some topics and using the Joker to double the score on a favourite round was a game changer for some.

Fish and Chips were once again delivered on time by the Poolside Chippy at Madeley crew, so thanks to them for their help in feeding the hungry quizzers.

Thanks to all our helpers who did sterling work in the busy bar, prepped the hall and ran the raffle which raised over £180 for the defibrillator we had recently bought.
